Both the bride and groom must freely agree to the marriage. VidNikah treats any concern about coercion or uncertainty as a reason to stop and review the case before the Nikah proceeds.
A polished ceremony cannot cure a lack of genuine consent. VidNikah gives participants a private way to raise concerns before the ceremony, and the imam can pause the process if anything is unclear.
