How VidNikah works

One clear path from “we want to marry” to a completed Islamic Nikah.

You should never have to guess what happens next. The process brings the people, documents, Islamic checks and ceremony into one case.

Application

Tell us who is getting married, who will act as wali, who the witnesses are, the proposed mahr and whether there is anything an imam should review.

2

Participants

The bride, groom, wali and witnesses are brought into one structured case. Each person knows what they need to complete.

3

Documents

Identity and supporting documents are uploaded to the secure case rather than being scattered across email and messaging apps.

4

Imam review

An imam reviews the Islamic preparation. Questions involving judgement or differing scholarly positions are handled by a person, not silently decided by software.

5

Ceremony

Everyone joins the private ceremony room. The imam confirms readiness, conducts the spoken Nikah and records the relevant confirmations.

6

Record

The completed Nikah record is locked, the Islamic certificate is produced and the couple can access it from their dashboard.

Who does what?

The platform organises the process. People still make the important decisions.

Couple

Bride and groom

Give genuine consent, agree the Mahr, complete the preparation and take part in the spoken Nikah.

Support

Wali and witnesses

The wali takes the guardianship role used by VidNikah, while the witnesses actually witness the relevant marriage exchange.

Review

Imam

Reviews the Islamic preparation, handles issues that need judgement and conducts the live ceremony.

Our scope

VidNikah provides an Islamic ceremony service. Each participant is responsible for checking any civil, legal, registration or marriage requirements that apply in the country where they are located.
