I keep getting rejected and it is destroying my confidence

After enough rejections, it is easy to stop hearing 'not the right match' and start hearing 'not good enough'.

In short

Repeated rejection hurts, but it is still not a reliable measure of your worth. Look for patterns you can learn from without turning every outcome into a verdict on your face, income, age or personality. Ask trusted people for useful feedback, improve what is reasonable, and keep the standards that protect you from a bad match.

What Islam gives us here

Qur'an 49:13 places honour before Allah in taqwa rather than social status or appearance.

Qur'an 65:2-3 teaches reliance on Allah while taking the means available to us.

Not every rejection means the same thing

One family may care about location. Another about attraction. Another about culture. Another may simply choose someone else. Your mind can merge all of those into one story about being unwanted.

Useful feedback should be specific

Ask one or two people who know you well if there are patterns worth improving. Communication, unrealistic preferences, presentation or a very narrow search can sometimes be adjusted.

Do not invite a crowd to list everything they dislike about you.

Do not become desperate enough to accept disrespect

Low confidence can make poor treatment feel like your only chance. That is when red flags are easiest to excuse.

What you can do now

  1. Take a short break if the process is becoming emotionally exhausting.
  2. Ask trusted people for specific, kind feedback.
  3. Improve what is reasonable without trying to become a different person.
  4. Keep your standards around deen, character and safety.

Questions people usually ask next

Should I change my appearance to get more proposals?

Good grooming and health can help confidence, but do not build your whole worth around chasing a perfect look.

How many rejections mean something is wrong with me?

There is no number that proves that. Look for specific repeated feedback rather than using the count itself as a diagnosis.
