We agree on deen but disagree on almost everything practical
Shared deen is a strong foundation, but it does not automatically decide where you live, whether both work or how many children you want.
In short
Take the practical disagreements seriously. Two sincere Muslims can still be a poor match if their life plans are far apart. Work through the biggest issues before Nikah and ask which are preferences, which are negotiable and which would cause lasting resentment if one person gave in.
What Islam gives us here
Qur'an 30:21 describes marriage with tranquillity, affection and mercy.
Islamic guidance on marriage gives weight to religion while also recognising the need for workable compatibility.
One person may want to move abroad. The other wants to stay near parents. One wants a large family. The other is unsure about children. These are real marriage questions.
Not everything needs perfect agreement
Couples can compromise on many things. The problem is when compromise means one person quietly giving up a life they deeply wanted.
Ask what will still matter in five years
Wedding colours will not. Where you live, how you spend money and whether you want children probably will.
What you can do now
List the five biggest practical disagreements.
Mark which are negotiable and which are not.
Discuss what compromise would actually look like.
Do not use shared religious language to avoid practical incompatibility.
Questions people usually ask next
If deen is good, should everything else be secondary?
Deen is central, but serious practical incompatibility can still make married life very difficult.
Can people change their minds later?
They can, but you should not marry based on a plan to change the other person.

The personal Islamic plan service is separate from the free guidance library. When it opens, it will apply general Islamic principles to the facts you share and include three follow-up questions. It is not medical, legal or other professional advice.
